AFIA to Host Free Feed Production Education Program at IPPE 2026

The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) will once again host its annual Feed Production Education Program on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 8–10 a.m. ET, during the 2026 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta, Ga. The session, organized by AFIA’s Production Compliance Committee, is free and open to all IPPE attendees.

As the feed industry continues to navigate evolving federal regulations, this year’s program will offer valuable updates from key agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency, Food and Drug Administration and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Attendees will hear from leading experts and AFIA staff on what’s ahead in 2026 and how to maintain compliance in a changing regulatory landscape.

“The Feed Production Education Program is one of AFIA’s cornerstone offerings at IPPE,” said Gary Huddleston, AFIA’s director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs. “It provides a concise and practical way for feed mill managers and production professionals to stay current with the latest regulatory, safety and operational trends affecting their businesses.”

In addition to the regulatory updates, the program will feature insights into mycotoxin management and an overview of AFIA’s upcoming education opportunities for 2026. The event will conclude with a summary of the 2025 AFIA/Feedstuffs Feed Facility of the Year program.

The session has been approved for one American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists continuing education unit.
